Winky Code Application:
Winky and its application "Winky Code" help children develop their programming and robotics skills. They learn to code by completing various challenges and can then play without a tablet. Winky’s sensors and effectors allow it to interact with children and their environment.
The numerous included challenges offer children practical applications and diverse games. The originality and variety of the activities keep them eager to keep progressing with Winky. Each challenge includes 3 levels divided into 10 to 15 steps.
Vittascience Programming Platform:
Designed in collaboration with Vittascience, the Winky blockly programming platform for teachers and students allows access to Winky in virtual format. Interfaces are provided to easily program all of Winky's sensors and effectors, see the result immediately on a 3D simulator, and then execute the program on the robot itself. Students can practice on the simulator before testing the programming on the robot, facilitating teacher supervision and reducing the number of robots needed per class.
