Solar Oven - Arduino version

Harness solar energy to reach temperatures of up to 150°C with this DIY oven. Entirely made in France from laser-cut poplar wood sourced from eco-managed forests, this project combines eco-design, technology, and energy independence.

The kit includes an illustrated educational booklet detailing the assembly steps, the scientific principles of solar concentration, and several experimental activities related to energy and measurement, as well as the following items:

• Laser-cut poplar wood panels,
• 1 polycarbonate window,
• 1 reflector sheet to cut out,
• 4 self-adhesive reflective films for the inside of the oven,
• 1 self-adhesive seal, a pair of scissors, and adhesive tape,

  • 1 Arduino Uno board,

  • 1 Grove shield for Arduino,
  • 1 Grove LCD screen (32 characters),
  • 1 Grove SI1145 sensor (visible light, UV, IR),
  • 1 Grove high-temperature sensor,
  • 1 OpenLog module for recording data on a microSD card,
  • 1 microSD card (128 MB) and its USB adapter.
